Friends, next year Atanansi grade school will have a Primary Seven class (P.7), but there is no space where these kids can study from. They need a classroom built before the next term starts sometime around the end of January. A semi-permanent structure similar to what they have on the compound right now would do just as fine. To buy 30 iron sheets, nails, trusses, poles, pieces of wood for the ‘walls’, transportation costs, labor, door frames, etc and some ten benches/desks for the new classroom will cost 1,200$. Part of the structure will be used as an office for the school principal and another small part as a teachers’ lounge. We need to get our teachers out of the grass thatched little thing on the compound that serves as the office/lounge/dinning place!
